Asterix in Flemish
Publisher: Éditions Albert René
The Dutch translation is also distributed in Flandres, Dutch speaking part of Belgium. In their first edition, the first two books carry the label "Zie Presenteert", after the magazine that published Asterix in Belgium.
The first books of the Albert-Rene series had a separate translation for Belgium, for a few years only. These we list below.

  1. De diepe kloof [25] (1980)
  2. De odyssee van Asterix [26] (1981)
  3. De zoon van Asterix [27] (1983)

The Dutch Edition [25] is called De Broedertwist rather than De Diepe Kloof. It has `Goscinny and Uderzo preSenteren' instead of `preZenteren', on the title page.

We schrijven 50 v. Kr. Gallië is helemaal bezet door de Romeinen... Helemaal? Nee! In één dorpje blijven onversaagde Galliërs zich tegen de invallers verzetten. En de legioensoldaten die gelegerd zijn in de versterkte kampen Babaorum, Aquarium, Laudanum en Petitbonum, maken ze het leven zuur.
