Dossier: Dossier: Swedish
Introduction
The Swedish books exist in two editions. The first edition (1973) is typeset, the "ny utgå" (1980) is hand lettered. The editions of "Asterix och hans tappra galler", "Asterix och Kleopatra", "Asterix och vikingarna" and "Tvekampen" have been retranslated. The first print differ from the later prints. This is also the case with the album "Det stora bygrälet" which was first published by "Bonniers Junior Förlag AB". This was the only album published by "Bonniers". The next print of "Det stora bygrälet" came with a new translation and was publised by 'Egmont Serieforlaget AB". As an example we show you details of "Tvekampen" and "Det stora bygrälet".

We love the Swedish covers for Gallien runt [5]: they do not show France (eeuh Gaul) as prominently as the original, and that seems suitable for the north-european editions.

Tvekampen (old & new translation)

- Hej, pojkar!
- Just det, tack vare Idefix!
