Asterix Annotations
Review at Alea Iacta Est
Qualis Artifex Perco! (What an artist perishes with me!) These are the words spoken by Cacofonix (Assurancetourix) when he leaves the village. Beaten up from time to time and even being replaced by a female bard, which's too much for him!

As Obelix laughs at the new female bard Bravura (Maestria), the first thing she does is send Obelix back to school. Not everybody appreciates her singing qualities, but the women of the village admire her.

Meanwhile it looks like the Romans are very quiet, but are they? No not at all! A very special century is set up to fight against the Gaul's. Problems in the village are getting very complicated and at the end all men are leaving the village and joining Cacofonix (Assurancetourix) in the woods. Asterix and Obelix find out, by accident, that the special century consists of Roman woman. Because the Gaul's never fight against women, the village is in a serious danger. But our bright Asterix does know how to handle it.

No wonder Caesar leaves Rome for a while when this story arrives in the mighty city...
